Why it matters

Three questions most homeowners can't answer.

  1. 1A water heater lasts about ten years. How many does yours have left?
  2. 2Your basement floods tonight. Who do you call?
  3. 3You want a new look for that room. Where do you even start?

EverHome answers all three for your home.

So what's the catch?

There isn't one. Here is how we get paid.
You never pay us
No card, no subscription, no paywall.
A partner pays us
Connect with a contractor, retailer or lender and they pay us for the introduction.
You may pay less
We never mark up a quote. Where we can, we negotiate rates below public pricing.
Quality first: licensing and track record. What a partner pays us is secondary, and never changes what you pay.Full referral disclosure

Questions homeowners ask us

Is EverHome really free?
Yes. Your home record, maintenance plan, documents, design tool, and quote requests cost nothing, with no card and no trial clock. We are paid by the home service and product partners you choose to use, not by you.
How do you make money?
When you ask us to connect you with a contractor, retailer or lender, that partner pays us. In some categories they pay only if you hire them; in others they pay for the introduction itself. We never mark up their price or take a cut of your bill. Where we can, we negotiate rates below public pricing. You are never obligated to use anyone we suggest. We choose partners on quality first: licensing, insurance, coverage area, and how they have performed for other homeowners. What they pay us is a secondary factor.
What if my home was never inspected by one of your companies?
You can still open a free record. We start from the public record on your address, generate a maintenance schedule from the age and type of the home, and you fill in the specifics as you go. If we ever do inspect your home, the report drops straight into the record you already have.
What can you see about my home before I create an account?
A preview of your plan: what needs attention, what is due next, and your Home Health Score. A free account saves it and opens your documents, full system detail, and quotes. Mortgage, equity, and refinance detail stay locked until you prove you own the home.
What do you do with my information?
Your mortgage balance, equity, home value estimates, and insurance details are never sold or shared. When you ask us for quotes, we pass along only what a contractor needs to price the job. We share your information with a partner when you ask us to, and any use beyond that is opt-in.
How is this different from a home inventory app?
An inventory app is an empty binder you fill in. EverHome starts from what a licensed inspector recorded on site, including make, model, install year, and location for every major system, then tells you what needs doing and connects you to someone who can do it.
What happens when I sell the house?
You can export your full home record and hand it to the buyer, which makes disclosure easier and gives them a head start. Your account moves with you to your next home.
